Women’s D3 Group Guidelines

Women's D3 Group Format

HOW’S YOUR HEART? (15 Minutes)

The first 15-minutes of D3 will include a small group discussion. You’ll have the opportunity to share what’s on your heart.

BIG GROUP DISCUSSION (10-15 Minutes)

After the 15-minute small group (2-3 women) check-in, the small groups will be brought back into the main Zoom room. During the big group discussion, we’ll review that week’s assigned Daily Discipline™ sharing any takeaways or impactful ideas. The D3 Guide will then add the 2 small group discussion questions into the Zoom chat and then send everyone back into their small group (2-3 women) for deeper discussion.

SMALL GROUP DISCUSSION (40-45 Minutes)

After a brief overview of the Daily Discipline assigned you’ll get a chance to go back into your small group (2-3 women) to discuss your thoughts on the video and the questions posed in the Daily Disciplines™ worksheet.

BIG GROUP FINAL THOUGHTS (10 Minutes)

Once the small groups return to the big group your guide will give everyone a chance to share insights they discovered during their small group interactions.

Women's D3 Group Values

WE VALUE KINDNESS & COMPASSION

Many of our group members (and maybe you, too) will be going through difficult trials and challenges during our time together. Let’s practice kindness and compassion whenever possible.

WE VALUE GRACE & MERCY

Balancing work, life, family, and recovery is tricky. We acknowledge that our goal is progress, not perfection, so we will meet your mess with grace and mercy, and without judgment or condemnation.

WE VALUE DEPTH & AUTHENTICITY

During this group, we’ll share pieces of ourselves we rarely share with others. We value relational depth and authenticity, and we try to shed shallowness and masks whenever possible.

Women's D3 Group Rules

SAFETY

Each participant must turn their video on for the entire meeting. This allows everyone to feel safer while in small group discussions. Please find a quiet and private place before joining the meeting.

BE ON TIME

Being on time is just being respectful of others and guarantees everyone will be able to get the most out of our time together.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Respect others’ privacy by holding our space sacred and keeping what individuals and the group shares as private and confidential.

BE PREPARED

Each week you’ll be expected to watch one short video from the Daily Disciplines™ for Partner Support. Be prepared to discuss what you learned from the video and willing to ask questions when you need clarification.
